Lichfield Musical Youth Theatre return to the Lichfield Cathedral in 2021 to perform the Andrew Lloyd Webber worldwide smash hit musical - CATS!

Cats was one of the longest running West End and Broadway musicals based on the 1939 poetry collection "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" by T. S. Eliot. It tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make the "Jellicle choice", deciding which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life. The musical includes the well-known song "Memory" as sung by Grizabella.

With a cast of 36 young performers, supported by the usual award-winning production team, orchestra and back stage creatives this is certainly one not to be missed!

Tickets go on sale to the Priority Group on Friday 6th December art 10.00am, then Public Sale begins on Monday 9th December at 10.00am.

Please note that for this production the stage is in the centre, which is raised, with flat flooring on either side of the stage.
