Lobster x CrowdCube - Q&A session (drop-in)
Event Information
Description
Lobster just launched their CrowdCube campaign allowing all photography, advertising and tech lovers to invest in their business and own a part of it.
With this occasion, the team invites you to join them in a relaxed environment and ask them anything about the current investment round and the goals they will achieve with the investment raised from the crowd.
Whether you're a photographer or videographer, an advertiser, creative freelancer, angel or full-time investor, you should come and ask your questions about the opportunity of investing in a growing startup that's changing the way people search and license user-generated content. Or just have a chat with us and hear about how we're helping 30,000 social media creators worldwide to license their content to creatives and make the adland a more diverse, inclusive and culturally relevant place for the consumers, with the help of tech.
About Lobster
Lobster is an AI-powered marketplace and platform bridging the gap between buddying photographers and videographers on social media networks and creatives working in advertising agencies, brands and publishers. It all started in 2013 in London, and then officially launched at TechCrunch Disrupt Europe 2014.
Primarily positioned as a technology company, Lobster also represents and breathes through a vibrant community gathering 30,000 creators from around the world. Each of them going on about their daily lives and taking photos and videos on social media networks and cloud archives making it possible to search through more than 10 million images and videos, ready to be licensed. A license gives back 75% to the author. Current collaborators include Oliver Wyman, McCann, Leo Burnett and Google, Creative Industries Federation.
Most recent project: #MemoryDonation Alzheimer's Disease awareness campaign; partnerships: KODAKone, DIT, Machine Intelligence Garage x Google Cloud, AWS, current participation: IBM Watson Build.
