On Thursday 20th October 2016, ACE Centre - the leading national charity that provides expert advice and services in AAC and AT - are hosting a free Local AAC Services Day.
The informative networking day will bring together teachers, speech & language therapists, occupational therapists and AT professionals from across the Thames Valley & Wessex region to explore existing and emerging local AAC provision with local commissioners.
ACE Centre help to transform lives by supporting people of all ages with complex speech and language impairments, physical impairments or learning disabilities to communicate. This includes those with cerebral palsy, autism, stroke or motor neurone disease. We work to empower individuals to express themselves, live more independently and achieve their potential.
This free, full-day event (9.30am – 3.30pm) will be held at The Ark Conference Centre Ltd, Dinwoodie Drive, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG24 9NN
