Local Anaesthetics Core Update
Join the Edinburgh and Lothian Branch of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists for a core CPD day to update you on Local Anaesthetics.
Presented by Jackie Locke, the course will cover the mechanics and pharmacology of local anaesthetics as appropriate to the profession of podiatry. This course is designed to help you comply with the HCPC standard of renewal of your core knowledge of local anaesthetics which is required every 3 years.
The course includes notes and refreshments.
This course is open to all HCPC registered podiatrists and podiatry students studying at an approved UK school of Podiatry. There are seperate ticket types available for members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists/CPSA and non members.

About your course leader:
Jackie has been a lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University since 2008, and is currently Programme Lead for BSc. (Hons) Podiatry. His special interests include neurological disease, the use of local anaesthesia in podiatric practice and the management of high risk patients. He has conducted research in anatomical function, diabetes education and the use of various technologies to support student learning. Jackie has been a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) since 2012, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2014.
