In response to the Treasury Select Committee report highlighting improvements in local authority debt collection practices, join us to debate changing best practice in the sector and sample live demos of the latest in collections technology.

 We are inviting Council Leaders and Finance Professionals to join us at this historic venue to find out how FCA regulated 'best practice' can improve council collection rates and protect your most vulnerable residents.

You will have the opportunity to debate the current issues facing councils with leading experts in the field and experience live demonstrations of the latest technologies used by the private sector.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, with drinks and networking at the end of the day.

 

 

Activities

Keynote Speaker

Rushanara Ali MP, member of the Treasury Select Committee on household finances will talk about the findings of the report. You will also hear from leading experts in the charity, financial regulation and local government sectors.

    Expert Panel Debate

Chaired by Heather Jameson, editor of the MJ, our panel of experts will debate the issues faced by council's in their treatment of the most financially vulnerable and how they can rise to the challenge of 'leading by example' as highlighted by the Treasury Select Committee.

Ask questions and find out how they think the public sector can meet the challenge.

Experience Technologies

The partnership changes the way public sector debts are handled by applying Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) standards to public as well as private sector debt collection.
