The Open Enterprise Network (OEN) invites you to a lively, hands-on day exploring how local businesses and communities can spark innovation, build sustainability, and create positive change.
Join Dr Aqueel Wahga of the Open University's Business School for an interactive workshop open to anyone interested in enterprise, innovation, or making a positive impact in their community.
Through group activities, discussions, and pitching exercises, you’ll have the chance to:
- Discover inspiring stories of local innovation and responsible business
- Work together on fresh ideas to tackle real challenges
- Learn practical tools to develop and pitch ideas with confidence
- Connect with like-minded people and expand your network
You don’t need an innovative idea to take part – just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to join in.
This is a supportive, engaging space to learn new skills, share experiences, and see how enterprise can make a difference close to home.
Relaxed start from 10am, with the programme to kick off at 10:30am sharp.
