Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for our local interest coffee mornings. Come and enjoy refreshments, a talk and discussion on a different topic of local interest each month. Relax, meet new people, browse some of the library’s local history resources, and maybe learn something new. All welcome, free of charge, just drop in.
Wednesday 6th August 10am - A talk from Jann Tracy - Come along to hear Jann discuss her new book Stratford Women: making a diffence in Shakespeare’s town, which tells the stories of women you may not have heard of, but who deserve to be remembered.
Wed 3rd September 10am - A talk from John Webb - John will be sharing a very personal story of how the British Legion helped him and his family during a period of grief and loss. After reaching out for help as a veteran, John has been on an incredible journey including invitations to the King’s Coronation and breakfast at Number 10. It’s a story of positivity and faith restored. John calls it “Poppy Power”!
