Local Offer: Check and Challenge

Every local authority must publish a Local Offer.

The Local Offer tells you what support the local authority expects to be available for Parent Carers and their children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Disabilities.

The Local Offer is the main source of information in the online world and represents the portal of knowledge on behalf of Brent Council

It must include information about education, health and care provision.

The local authority must involve children and young people with SEN and disabilities, and parents and carers in preparing and reviewing their Local Offer.

We have been working with Brent Parent Carer Forum and partners in Health, Social Care and Education to review different sections .

We would like to invite you to attend an interactive session in person at Brent Civic Centre to check and challenge those changes.

We want to ensure that parents are able to access the right information at the right time and in the right format so please join us for this interactive session where you can help improve the Local Offer website and voice your opinions.

This in-person event is one of few opportunities to have input on how you access information.

This event will be held on the 3rd Floor in Meeting Room 2 at Brent Civic Centre ,so please when you arrive at the Civic Centre, report to reception and we will arrange for some one to collect you

Please aim to arrive by 950am so we can start the meeting promptly at 10am
