Local systems change in practice – learning from an Early Learning Community
About this event
What does local systems change look like in practice? What are the challenges and opportunities for change at a local level? How can we turn theory into to action to effect change in the Early Years system?
Come along to hear Save the Children Wales and their partners from the Bettws Early Learning Community share their learning from delivering a local systems change approach in practice. This event will focus on practical side of systems change, sharing experiences, opportunities and challenges from the past three years working at a hyper-local level to improve children’s outcomes in an area affected by poverty.
There will also be an opportunity to dive deeper and ask your questions to a panel of experts.
About this series of events
Save the Children's Learning Network is part of the organisation's work to share our insights about effective place-based and partnership working across and beyond the early years sector. Our intention is to build a network of Save the Children staff, local partners and colleagues working on similar projects across the UK and abroad in order to:
- Enable others to create change for children in their local area
- Help identify the shared challenges that need action beyond local areas
- Create networks and allies to advocate for wider change
