LocalGov Digital - South West Peer Group

LocalGovDigital is a network for digital practitioners in local government. Its aim is to collaboratively improve councils digital service provision. The South West Peer Group has been setup to create more opportunities for localised collaboration and discussion with neighbouring authorities.
This is the second meetup is for all councils in the areas covered by:
- North Somerset
- Bath and North East Somerset
During this meetup we will continue to explore the Local Government Digital Service Standard (LGDSS) but focus on assessment and what guidelines are needed to ensure the standard has been implemented effectively.
- Review of the GDS assessment criteria
- Talk to Kelly Lee and colleagues from GDS about how they assess services and products
- Look at how the LGDSS can use the GDS criteria
- Presentation by Gemma Phelan about the GDS Digital Marketplace
If you have any suggestions for topics you would like to be covered or possible speakers for the event, please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration. The full agenda will be shared asap, once suggestions have been collated.
