Locus & Accident Reports
There are endless disputes concerning events at particular locations. They are frequently linked to motoring but might also include health and safety issues, workplace accidents or occurrences in public places.
To enable advocates to understand the events and then reach a conclusion, it is usual to instruct an investigator to attend at the locus (the scene) to gather information.
How to receive instructions and the relevant risk assessment / Health and Safety considerations will be covered.
The workshop will set out how to prepare locus plans and photographs.
You will be shown how to prepare a detailed locus report.
Often, the identification and then interviewing of witnesses that were at the scene is an ingredient and the workshop will provide guidance of the proper approach to take.
The workshop will include a practical exercise.
