What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes the wine safari, which should take between 90 and 120 minutes and access to our vintage VW vineyard exhibition space. Purchases from our horsebox bar are an additional cost.

Can we bring a picnic/our own food & drink?

Accepted Answer

Please do not bring your own food and drink to the event. We follow strict food hygiene and allergen rules and can therefore not allow external food and drink on site.

Question 3

Can I bring a guest who is under 18 years old?

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of this event and the service of alcohol, this event is for visitors aged 18 years and over only. Please bring ID with you as we have the right to request this under the Challenge 25 Policy

Can I walk to the site?

Yes! You can walk to Lokkelebery from many directions (please see the map above).

Question 5

How many wines will be tasting, and where will they be from?

Accepted Answer

We will taste 8 wines, from England to New Zealand. The wines may vary depending on vintage availability.

Question 6

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

This event is wheelchair accessible. However, it should be noted that the tour takes place in a working vineyard which can be uneven and may cause challenges for wheelchair users. The tour is also a walking tour so visitors will need to move with the group in order to follow the trail.

Question 7

Will we be tasting any Lokkelebery wine?

Accepted Answer

There will be no Lokkelebery wine at the event since the vineyard is still too young. While we have produced a harvest, it won't be until late 2026 (at the earliest) that we will be able to try the wine. However, we still wanted to showcase our favourite wines from around the world!

Is there walking involved?

Yes, this is a walking tour with pit stops to taste the wine along the way. However, we will be on our feet for the duration so please consider your comfort when booking.

Can I bring my dog/pet?

Accepted Answer

While we love furry friends, we cannot permit dogs or other pets in the vineyard for farm safety and hygiene reasons
