Try Tag Rugby will join the London 9s Festival again this year with a Mixed Open tournament inviting all standards of player from beginner to elite.

The tournament will run alongside Men's & Women's Rugby League 9's, enjoy music all day with a big line up of guest DJs packing in the crowds, long after the rugby has finished. Festival style fairground games to keep you entertained, food trucks offering mouth-watering fresh street-food to keep you satisfied and of course plenty of beer to ramp up the party and celebrate with your mates!


  • Squads of 12, register as a team or join as an individual and make up a team of 12 talented individuals
  • 7-a-side (Maximum 4 males on the field at any one time)
  • Divisions - Elite to Beginner
  • Guaranteed 90 minutes game time
  • Seeding - Teams will be seeded once registration has closed and squads are complete


Registration will commence at 09:00am and close at 10:30am. The tournament will kick off sharp at 11am and finish at 5pm. New Players taster session will take place at 10:15 sharp, Captains and Referees briefings will both take place at 10:30 sharp. Presentation will be made after the final whistle and then all players are invited to join the onsite after-party.

The Challenge Cup Final takes place the day before the tournament at Wembley Stadium, so why not make a big weekend of rugby and join fellow TTR players at Wembley for a great social day out at one of the world's most iconic stadiums. All registrants will be eligible to purchase discounted Challenge Cup Final tickets which will be positioned in the lower bowl and discounted from £50 to just £15.
