The aim of the group is to act as champions for policy, practice and research for creative health in London. This includes acting as contributors to national and international policy development e.g. national framework for quality and support for freelance artists, and facilitating connections to lived experience and delivery to policy/strategic development for London.
We will do this through:
- making these meetings as equitable as possible, removing barriers to participation
- meeting quarterly as a core group
- programming open meeting style discussions and events
The group is convened by the GLA, London Arts and Health and Arts Council England.
- The group will cover creative health widely but will have a focus on cultural social prescribing and the new ICS structure in London in 2022. This will be evaluated and added to as the group progresses and new themes emerge.
- The group aims to shift the dial on understanding and connectedness of the emerging sector of cultural social prescribing in London.
- The group will focus on London but will also work to stay informed and learn from national and international work in the sector.
- We will be asking members and guests to showcase best practice, share resources and will encourage collaboration and partnerships.
- Sub-groups may be developed to address particular areas of need.
For the autum term, the LACH stakeholder meeting will be held at the City Hall. While we encourage members to join us in-person, we appreciate that it may not be possible for everyone and are, therefore, offering our members to join the meeting remotely using the link below:
