Join us for an exciting online Acting workshop led by the legendary Actor/Playwright/Director/Producer Steven Berkoff! Who can take part?

Any Actor or Actor in Training who is keen to learn and perform a monologue from one of Steven's fabulous works (think Greek, West, East, Decadence, Dog, Oedipus and many others). After signing up please send CV to info@londonactorsworkshop.co.uk & we can provide a selection of scripts.

Which scripts should we prepare?

Please choose from Steven's One Act Plays: https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/steven-berkoff-one-act-plays-9781408182482/ or his Faber & Faber series: Steven Berkoff Plays 1, 2 and 3 https://www.faber.co.uk/author/steven-berkoff/ Do please let us know your choice in advance so Steven can be prepared!

What happens on the night?

Steven will work with up to TEN Actors individually over Zoom who will perform a monologue from one of his published works. (The monologue should be trimmed to 90 seconds max.) He'll then give feedback and director notes and you'll go again! Others can opt to observe the session.

How should we prepare for session?

Please be well framed and lit correctly on your device so that Steven can see and hear you well. A mid shot with a good ring light is best. You should be completely off book and be ready to briing your 'A Game' as an Actor. If you are observing you will be off camera apart from to say hi and bye!

Will the session be recorded?

We have no plans to record the session. This will be very much a LIVE experience - so be there to catch it!

What if I have to cancel?

There is a high demand for this opportinuty so please make sure you are able to attend before booking as we cannot offer a refund.

Will I receive a Zoom link before the workshop?

Yes, you will receive a Zoom link via email shortly before the workshop.

Will there be Q & A?

The focus of the evening is very much on coaching individual Actors and everyone gaining from Steven's feedback, however, time permitting, yes, we do plan for 15-20 minutes Q & A at the end of the session.

How much is it to take part?

£70 (plus Eventbrite fee) to perform a monologue for Steven and receive feedback and notes. £10 (plus Eventbrite fee) to observe the session.
