London co-operatives meet-up
Thu 10 March 2016, 15:00 – 20:30 GMT
Are you a co-op in London or interested in co-ops? join us for a workshop on Co-operative Values followed by a Principle Six networking event.
Co-operatives UK and Co-operatives London hosting a two part event on the 10th March in London at The OXO Tower (4th Floor), with support from Redwood Housing Co-operative and the Phone co-op. Both parts of the event are free to attend, but places are limited, so book early!
3:00 - 5:30 Workshop on Co-operative Values
Maria Harder is the founder and head of the Values and Sustainability research group at the University of Brighton, which collaboratively co-develops cross-disciplinary design research in values-based approaches. Maria will be running a practical workshop on values, how to agree shared values within your co-op, embed them and ensure they help guide and drive success in growing your co-operative.
6:00 - 8:30 Principle Six business networking session
This is the fourth in Co-operatives London’s popular Principle Six events, designed and facilitated by Siôn Whellens. It is a great opportunity to tell people about your business or organisation. The aim, quite simply, is to create as many new partnerships and opportunities as possible in a short space of time - so it’s a high-energy format. There will be plenty of time before and after to follow up with one-to-one conversations with other co-operative people.
