London College of Communication | Public Relations Guest Lecture Series
Thursday, 31 October 2013 from 17:30 to 19:00 (GMT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This is the inaugural guest lecture series organised by the Public Relations department at London College of Communication and kindly supported by Lissted, Superhuman Social Listening.
We are excited to welcome Nick Jones, Vice President of Digital Corporate Communication, Visa Europe.
Prior to joining VISA Europe, Nick was the Head of Digital at the Prime Minister's Office and Cabinet Office and played a significant role in developing the digital capacity and activity for the UK Government.
Nick will ask the question: despite the disruption created by digital and social media, what happens when 'different' becomes the new 'norm'? He will argue that social media is fast becoming 'BAU': Business As Usual, with communication innovations adopted by all. Drawing on his range of impressive experience in government and corporations Nick will explore the relationship between 'BAU', innovation and how social media can maintain its impact in communications.
