Welcome back for Covent Garden Raspberry Jam
- Python programming in Minecraft using this book: http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-111894691X.html
- Programming music wih Sonic Pi; http://sonic-pi.net/
- We will be running Show & Tell in the hall too, just get in touch and bring your project to show off! Anything from robots to games can be on show, as long as they involve a Raspberry Pi!
- We are hoping to run lightning talks so if you fancy a 5-15 min slot, you are very welcome to contacts us and we will book you in, if you have any special requirements let us know and we will do our best to accomodate. You can talk to use about your projects, products, experiences, tips and anything else. Feel free to make a powerpoint, on the Pi of course!
Please use the twitter hastag #CGJam when sharing tweets and photos about this jam, ensuring you check with the photographed that they or their gown ups are happy for you to share.
This will be in the main hall only. Dragon is a community centre in high demand, so we were lucky to squeeze a session in. There is no obligation but if you can, please contribute, the donations for tickets cover costs for running the jams and workshops
If you need help making a project, getting started programming/with a pi, or have an incomplete project, please do bring it so we can collaborate.
Feel free to bring along a laptop, Pi and snacks! Also under-12s must bring along an adult.
Everyone else can bring whatever they want, even if it is just themselves! But we are looking forward to lots of cool bits of kit and projects.
Let us know if you can help run one of the workshops, help set up, run a workshop at a future jam or do a lightening talk
At this jam we are honoured to have a 'build your own arduino' session with Romily from Romily's Rare Blogs, where you will build a Shrimp kit (this costs £10 to cover Romily's travel and the parts for the kids; pay direct to the presenter at the event).
Come along and try a bit of everything...
