Description

London Digital Peer Group - TeaCamp #6: Assisted Digital

Join the LocalGov Digital London Peer Group on Thursday 30th November for the 6th TeaCamp, where we will focus around Point #12 of the Local Government Digital Service Standard:

'Encourage maximum usage of the digital service (with assisted digital support if required)'.

Whilst meeting users' needs is covered in Points 1 and 10 of the Standard, it must also be considered as a factor to increase digital take-up. There are many ways to:

- Initiate and increase digital take-up
- Measure the increase
- Provide assisted digital support
- Make sure your digital service meets the accessibility standard

... But how can you ensure the maximum take-up of your council's digital services by your residents?

Ben Carpenter, Inclusive Services & Assisted Digital Lead at Government Digital Service will be leading this informative and practical TeaCamp session, sharing how GDS currently measure the update of their digital services. From going live with a new digital service, to targeting customer groups, to promoting use and beyond, Ben will be sharing the practical insights that you can take away and apply to the uptake of your own digital services.

There will be a chance for Q&A, as well as a practical breakout session to share ideas and collaborate with team members from other London borough councils.

The London Peer Group is led by City Hall, with tea, cake and sponsorship provided by Unboxed and Agilesphere.
We look forward to seeing you there.
