About the speakers:

Sarah Campbell

Expertise

Sarah specialises in divorce and separation law, together with the associated financial aspects and children issues, cohabitation disputes (TOLATA and Schedule 1) and the rights of cohabitees and pre and post nuptial agreements. She works on a range of family law matters with a variety of clients.

Recent Experience

Sarah has;

  • Worked on a range of matters including media-sensitive cases, so far as they concern, for example, assisting on the case of an internationally renowned sports star.
  • Acted for a wife in relation to a set aside application where the assets are over £10million.
  • Acted for a wife in a financial remedy matter wherein the husband is a very high earner (multi-millions per year) and his income is unusual in nature and it is paid across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Obtained a positive outcome for a father in relation to a TOLATA and Schedule 1 matter.
  • Represented a father in relation to Children Act proceedings and successfully obtained a favourable Child Arrangements Order for him.
Career History

Sarah joined Wedlake Bell with 4.5 years post qualification experience in a variety of family law matters.
She trained at Birkett Long (a tier 1 for family law, provincial law firm) and spent a lot of time working with middle income clients and their families, as well as working on some high net worth cases. Sarah worked on financial remedy matters, as well as children matters and also gained experience of working with clients whose issues or assets were cross-border in nature.
In 2015 she moved to Lloyd Platt & Co and worked on a number of highly complex, substantial and often multi-jurisdictional matters.

Sarah is a Member of Resolution.

Soila Sindiyo

As an experienced Triple P accredited Parenting Practitioner with an MSc in Child Development and training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as SITCAP (Structured Sensory Interventions for Traumatized Children, Adolescents and Parents), I have been working with children and families for over 16 years now.

I provide training, consultancy and CPD accredited professional workshops to those working in the field of divorce in various topics regarding children, families and divorce including Dealing with Parental Alienation (Implacable Hostility) and How to help Parents support their Children during Divorce and Separation.

When it comes to working with parents, I work on a one-to-one basis or in group settings. The two group workshops that I run are: Parenting after Divorce and Separation and Group Triple P (Positive Parenting Program).

I'm a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS) and a trained family mediator.

Jane Busby

As a divorce coach I offer one to one support and guidance through the divorce process and beyond. I help clients manage the stress and pressure of their divorce. I offer coaching packages that take clients through divorce and on to reestablish their lives.

I am the director and founder of Accord Family Mediation Ltd working as an accredited mediator and PPC. Experienced in seeing children and young people in mediation and assisting parents focus on the needs of their children.

A presenter of the separated parents information program providing courses for both groups and individuals .

A professional practice consultant since 2003 supervising and supporting other mediators to maintain and raise professional standards, as well as guiding trainees through their portfolios to achieve accreditation.
