About the speakers:

Lesley Saunders:

Lesley Saunders has been mediating, supervising, assessing competence and delivering training in family and other fields of mediation since 1994. She is an FMC recognised mediator, routinely works with children in mediation and has recently completed the NFM Advanced Mediator training. Lesley is Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) at Dialogue Family Mediation, Camden Family Mediation, Mediation East Sussex and Southwark Family Mediation where she provides mediator support and development as well as having a key role in quality control.

In addition to her PPC work Lesley mediates for Dialogue Family Mediation in Brighton as well as in private practice and delivers the CAFCASS Separated Parenting Information Programme in London and Thames Valley. She also assesses portfolios for the FMC APC scheme.

Suzanne Kingston:

Suzanne is widely known for her expertise in all aspects of family work, in particular the resolution of complex financial issues for high net worth individuals. Suzanne's cases often have an international element and she has considerable experience in dealing with prenuptial agreements and cohabitation issues. As a member of the Children Panel, Suzanne has dealt with numerous cases involving complicated Children Act issues as well as both child abduction and adoption. She is an accredited Resolution mediator and has a thriving mediation practice having recently undertaken a number of referrals under the Court of Appeal mediation scheme. In addition, Suzanne is a qualified collaborative lawyer and trains collaborative law for Resolution. Suzanne has spearheaded the Arbitration Training for family lawyers and is herself an Accredited Arbitrator.

Suzanne won Lawyer of the Year at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2016, Family Lawyer of the Year Award at the Spear's Wealth Management Awards 2015 and is regularly included in Citywealth's top 10 Power Women.

Suzanne has acted for well known personalities including footballers, actors and well known business people. In addition, Suzanne is able to use her skill set in nitty litigation as well as assisting clients via alternative dispute resolution whether that be mediation, collaborative law or arbitration.

On a personal note

On a personal note Suzanne loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, sailing, hiking and of course wine tasting!

Tristan Harvey:

Tristan specialises in dispute resolution. He is a Resolution trained mediator, an arbitrator (in both financial and children cases) and a collaborative lawyer. He also conducts private FDRs and early neutral evaluations.

Tristan’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law, with an emphasis on matrimonial finance and private law children matters. He has also represented clients in Schedule I applications, trust of land disputes and applications under Part IV Family Law Act 1996.

Tristan has lectured on a range of subjects including pre-nuptial agreements and trust of land disputes.

Education

Having studied at Pomona College, California for one year under the Pomona-Downing Scholarship, Tristan read Law at Downing College, Cambridge. He was subsequently awarded the Jules Thorn Scholarship by Middle Temple.

Personal

Tristan is married with two daughters. He enjoys playing golf and the piano, neither particularly well.
