In February, the Advice Network and Housing & Homelessness Network will come together to explore the Cost of Living crisis and its impact on London’s communities, particularly on their access to and use of advice services, and their experiences of housing-related issues.

We’ll hear from London Funders member – London Councils – about their key insights from their latest report about the supply and affordability of PRS accommodation in London, and recent findings around the impact of unfreezing the local housing allowance.

Additionally, we’ll hear from the National Housing Federation. As the trade body for housing associations in England, they’ll share some of the ways their members are supporting residents affected by the crisis.

We’re also pleased to be joined by Citizens Advice London. They’ll provide an overview of their Cost of Living Dashboard and how this information can be useful data for funders looking to support London’s communities most affected by the crisis.

Finally, fellow London Funders member – Hammersmith United Charities – will share an overview of their activities to fund and connect frontline organisations to meet the increasingly complex needs of diverse service users as a result of the crisis.

There’ll also be time in the meeting for members to collectively horizon scan and share any updates about their work– so please come ready to share!

These networks are open to any London Funders member interested in or funding work related to advice, housing and homelessness.
