Event description
The London Genetics Network 2021 annual meeting

About this event

The London Genetics Network is a network founded in 2020 by Professor Angelica Ronald (Birkbeck) and Prof Karoline Kuchenbaecker (UCL). The Network is funded by the Genetics Society and is designed for researchers working in human genetic research in London and the surrounding areas. The Network’s aims are:

  • to increase London-based collaboration between researchers interested in human genetics
  • to leverage London’s expertise by fostering knowledge exchange
  • to develop practical and online resources for training and development in statistical and computational genetics
  • to support early career researchers through a range of new opportunities and research prizes

We will host our second annual meeting on Friday 3rd December 2021, online from 9.30am-3.30pm. The meeting will feature scientific talks as well as posters, with an early career researcher (ECR) poster competition and carer awards. We will also be advertising ways in which attendees can get involved with the network and the planning of future events.

Academics affiliated with research institutions based in London and the surrounding areas that are currently working in human genetics are welcome to attend.
