Throughout January some of the Migrateful Chefs will be hosting practice cookery classes. For some this will be the first time they have taught the paying public. For others it is training to transition from teaching online, to in person classes.
Each class will begin with an introduction from the chef into the cuisine we will be cooking. The chef will then divide the class into stations and cooking will begin. The chef training team and volunteers will be there to support the class. At the end we will all sit down for a delicious feast. We will also ask the participants for feedback on the class.
Please note that these are training sessions where we will be testing the dishes, how the class runs and the quantities in the recipes. Think of it like a technical rehearsal at the theatre. This means it may run for longer than a normal class and involve some stop, starting.
Additionally, we will not be able to accommodate dietary requirements but all menus include a vegetarian option.

IN-PERSON CLASS COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE AS OF 10 DECEMBER 2021
In light of the recent developments in relation to the COVID Omicron variant, we will be implementing the following safety protocols for all our in-person classes, effective on 10 December 2021:
•All class attendees will be required to show their COVID Pass or provide a proof of negative lateral flow test.

- Report a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test result - Report your result after using a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test. Find out what your result means and what you must do.
•Wearing of masks is mandatory at all times except when eating, unless you are medically exempt.
•General safety protocols are highly encouraged such as regular hand-washing, social distancing and use of hand sanitisers.

IMPORTANT: Please note that you cannot book Training Classes using a gift voucher as they are a special type of class and discounted accordingly. If you book using a gift voucher code you will be charged a full price class cost which we will not be able to amend.
