Event description
Imagining how a pan-London microcredentials programme could impact life-long learning in the capital.

About this event

Following on from our successful micro-credentials event in July, this event will see London Higher host a further discussion to progress the development of a London-based pilot for a micro-credentials scheme.

Joined by Dr Ailsa Crum, Director of Membership Quality Enhancement & Standards, QAA, participants at this session will consider the experience of institutions abroad where microcredentials are already a successful part of the higher education experience, as well as the ways in which London is best placed to lead the way in innovative pathways to lifelong learning.

With plenty of opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion, the hope is that this session will end with a plan for developing a pilot for a pan-London micro-credentials course.

This event will take place virtually, with joining information sent to registered attendees.

PLEASE NOTE: this event is free for London Higher members to attend, but for those wishing to join the meeting not from a London Higher member institution, there will be a charge of £50 per event, or £120 for the whole week of events, which will be invoiced after registration. Contact sarah.hurst@londonhigher.ac.uk for more information.
