Description

History for All: pathways to overcoming challenges

With a crowded curriculum, in primary schools sometimes history finds itself competing for both budget and curriculum space. Meanwhile in secondary schools, new GCSE and A-level specifications, performance measures and EBacc all provide challenges to meet.

This London History Forum will focus on some of the key issues relating to primary history and GCSE/A-level that you have expressed to us in our surveys, and will provide practical ideas and support to help you to deliver and get the best from your pupils, whatever challenges you face. In addition to led workshop sessions from trusted teachers and trainers, we also know that you can be your best collective resource. There will be a chance for participants to share good ideas and resources, so please come armed with something to share, such as a quick PowerPoint idea or a handout.
