Title: London horizons
Cities are our critical starting ground and ongoing territory. Cityness is thereby a form of being together and it is expressed in a matrix of cultural, social, spatial, environmental and time-based layers. By sharing space and spatial habit, it is more than the sum of its parts. Living or being transitory in London allows one to open up his own personal horizons. The city of London and its universities operate on one and the same layer. Being in one of the most multicultural and heterogeneous metropols in the world, directly affects the way we conceive and react to our build environment. This particular heterogeneous environment gives us the ability to understand the larger whole while being in one place. The relevance offered by studying in london is ever more important in an architectural environment which is more global then ever.
