London: Introduction to MSK Diagnostic Ultrasound

Physiquipe is hosting an introduction to MSK diagnostic ultrasound workshop delivered by expert MSK tutors.

This beginner's session on diagnostic MSK ultrasound offers an excellent learning opportunity, featuring lots of practical learning. It is ideal for healthcare professionals who are new to diagnostic scanning and are looking for an entry-level course to give them an insight into what MSK ultrasound entails.

This workshop ensures that you have ample time for hands-on scanning and receive close guidance and support from our tutors throughout.

Important: There is no qualification associated. You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

Expert Tutor: Dan Boyd

Dan Boyd started out completing a Sport and Exercise Science degree, progressing directly into an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2007. After graduating he began work in professional football with Colchester United and at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) specialising within the ‘Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health’ (ISEH) and onwards to a clinical lead position at Chelsea and Westminster NHS trust progressing through specialist MSK rotations to be a Highly Specialist MSK Physiotherapist. As well as holding a part-time position with Tottenham Hotspur F.C.

Following his time in the NHS and professional football – Dan has worked at London’s leading private practices and within the UCI World tour of professional cycling – now working as an ESP Physiotherapist with Physio on the Green.

Dan is a specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) Sonographer, and Independent Prescriber, working one day a week within an NHS Radiology clinic and an active part of the Multidisciplinary Team for Ultrasound constantly working on his expertise in Ultrasound diagnostics. Dan provides highly specialist ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided injections as part of Physio on the Green's Physiotherapy & Diagnostic Ultrasound and Injection Therapy service.
