Event description
Congratulations on getting a ballot place at the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2022 and thank you so much for choosing to run for Maggie's!

About this event

Please only fill in this form if you have already have a ballot place for the LLHM.

Please note the date of the LLHM is now Sunday 1 August 2021.

By choosing to run for Maggie's with your own ballot place you won't be set a fundraising target, but it would be great if you could raise as much as you can for your Maggie's centre to support more people affected by cancer.

Join Team Maggie's by completing this form and we will provide you with all of the support you will need to cross the finishing line including:

  • Invitation to your local centre to have a look around and speak to the fundraisers there
  • A Maggie's running vest
  • A fundraising pack
  • Training and support guides
  • Plenty of support to get you across the finish line
  • A huge cheer on the day from our cheer point

How your fundraising will help

£140 supports our exercise classes to help build and maintain strength and confidence whilst living with Cancer.

£50 means someone just diagnosed with cancer can receive immediate advice and support from a Cancer Support Specialist.

£40 could help someone diagnosed with cancer focus on their treatment and less on the struggle of supporting their family with our expert benefits advisors

If you have any questions please call us on 0300 123 1801 or email events@maggiescentres.org .

Organiser Maggie's

Organiser of London Landmarks Half Marathon 2022 - Own place registration form

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
