Frequently asked questions

How much is the registration fee?

The registration fee is £35 per charity place and is not refundable under any circumstances, unless agreed otherwise with The Charity.

How much is my fundraising target?

For charity place runners we ask that you raise £350 (excl. Gift Aid) for us by May 2026. Don't worry your dedicated point of contact, Beth, will be there to support you at every step of your journey.

When will I receive my official charity running vest?

Your running vest will be ordered for you once you have completed your official registration with the event organisers. Typical delivery times are 3 - 5 working days.

What if I can't reach the minimum sponsorship?

We set a minimum in order for us to cover costs of event places and ensure your hard-earnt funds go towards defeating brain tumours. Please note this target is a pledge, not an ultimatum. If you’re not able to raise the full amount , we would never stop you taking part in this/ future events.

Can I defer my place?

If you have a charity place you must tell us you are withdrawing. As the place belongs to The Charity we have to withdraw any places and we may be able to offer this place to another runner. We assesses deferrals on a case-by-case basis and can only offer deferrals under exceptional circumstances.

Can wheelchair users, visually impaired runners and participants with disabilities take part?

Absolutely, we're delighted to welcome wheelchair users, visually impaired runners and participants with disabilities. If you have any questions about accessibility please don't hesitate to contact us at events@thebraintumourcharity.org or contact the event organisers directly at support@llhm.co.uk
