Theme: Supporting Diverse Learners
LibTeachMeets are gatherings where librarians share teaching ideas through 2 or 5 minute presentations. We share and discuss ideas over drinks and cakes in between the sessions.
It is also a great opportunity to meet new people, exchange experiences and get advice!
Presentations can be about any aspect of teaching diverse learners, including the use of technologies, and come from any sector. Our definition of diverse learner is very broad and examples might include learners who are mature, part-time, international, mixed ability, new to education or the workplace, speak English as an additional language, have a disability, study by distance or e-learning.
The only rules we have is that presentations mustn’t be trying to sell us anything, and that they must stick to the timeslot!
Everyone is welcome to attend: whatever sector, whatever job title.
