This is a free in-person event for members of Hubbub's Community Nature Network https://www.communitynaturenetwork.org.uk/ and groups that run community nature spaces

Arrive from 10am to get settled and chat with some tea and biscuits.

The event will take place from 10:30 - 3:30pm on Friday 4th June in the Garden Room at St Lukes Community Centre, London. There will be an opportunity for a final networking session 3:30-4pm.

Sessions will include hearing from groups running community gardens on topics including:

🪲 Setting up bug clubs

🌿 Creating wildlife friendly habitats

Buzzing Roots

🎨 Nature-based art activities

🌳 Gardening and cross-cultural connection

St Lukes Nature Hub

🌼 Show and tell of nature space

✨ Methods for encouraging community participation

Plus, a workshop on Nature Connectedness 🌸

There’ll be lots of opportunities to connect with other groups running community gardens and nature spaces, learn from peers and talk through challenges and share learning on successes. There’ll be a number of breakout sessions throughout the day where we’ll hear from groups about whats worked well for them, and how they've overcome any bumps along the way.

It will be an informal and relaxed day with up to 50 attendees from across the country and a vegetarian lunch provided.

As places are limited first come first served we ask that each organisation in the network considers only signing up one staff member as an attendee, to give the widest range of organisations the opportunity to attend.
