London Peer Group teacamp (Local Government Digital Service Standard) - Rou...
Thu 27 April 2017, 16:00 – 18:00 BST
We’d like to invite you to the second LGDSS event.
The London Peer Group continues with a regular series of teacamp events. These are an opportunity for people working or interested in local government to come together to learn more about delivering great local digital services.
We’ll focus on different aspects of the LGDSS at each teacamp event. We’ll hear from people in local government and the wider public sector who are using the principles of the LGDSS to deliver better services.
It’s a chance to be inspired by the examples of others, take away some useful tips, and to meet people working on similar challenges - all over a nice cup of tea and a hearty slice of cake.
The second event will focus on the fundamental point #1 of the standard – ‘Understand user needs. Research to develop deep knowledge of who the service users are and what that means for the design of the service’.
The meetup will feature a collaborative and example-filled introduction to understanding your users’ needs, led by Steph Troeth from Clearleft and Chris Daniels from City Hall.
The event is from 4-6pm on Thursday 27 April at The Draft House, 206-208 Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 2UP.
The London Peer Group is led by City Hall and Camden Council.
