London Photo Festival
Event Information
Description
The founders of the London Photo Festival are pleased to announce the theme for the 11th now annual London Photo Festival which takes place in May.
This year’s theme is 'street photography', and on the Friday a Click ‘n Clique™ evening will be held, providing a unique platform for visitors to meet the photographers behind the works, and for photographers to network with other photographers and photography industry suppliers.
The tenth London Photo Festival will run from 17-19 May in the Crypt under St George the Martyr Church (opposite Borough Underground station), Borough High Street SE1 2JA. Our judge (TBC) will select their Best in Show, 1st and 2nd Runners ups. The winner of the public vote, the f-Factor, will also win photography related prizes.
The Festival is free to visit and all images are for sale. The Festival will be open from 11h00 on all three days and will remain open late on the Friday, closing at 6pm on Saturday, 19 May.
All visitors will be encouraged to vote for their favourite work in the ‘f/factor™’ competition.
“We created the London Photo Festival in 2011 to showcase up and coming talent and to provide new and emerging photographers with an opportunity to exhibit their work, have it professionally appraised and sell their work to the public. We will be holding our 11th Festival in May and we hope to continue to grow and promote photographers from around the globe,” said Emma Mapp and Kit Shah, Co-founders of the London Photo Festival.
