This event will provide Citizen Science training in the Modular River Survey physical habitat assessment method known as MoRPh CSci.

As part of London Rivers Week 2024, we are delighted to bring our annual one-off FREE training in the MoRPh CSci method to the Beverley Brook at Barnes Common.
This MoRPh CSci training is for London-wide volunteers and river enthusiasts who are interested in gathering data and evidence about the quality of physical habitat in their local rivers and working with nature to improve natural river processes and habitats.

The MoRPh Citizen Science method records observed physical features and builds understanding about how the shape and dynamic structure of rivers support habitats for aquatic wildlife. This training explains how MoRPh can provide a physical habitats health check and help guide decisions for river enhancements and management.
