About this event

In celebration of London Rivers Week 2024 ('London is a river city'), join our friendly guides for a walk around the reserve where we'll explore the different aquatic habitats that make up Walthamstow Wetlands including our reservoirs, ponds and the Coppermill Stream. We'll delve into the different insects, birds and mammals that call these habitats home and look at the ponds we have created to help our water-dwelling wildlife.

This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths - there may be some gentle inclines, strong stout footwear recommended. The walk will last approximately 2 hours and will be fully outdoors - so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and if you have binoculars do bring them, but it’s not essential.

This walk is for over 18s and young people over 12 (accompanied by an adult). Further information will be sent out prior to the event.
