Leeds Business School, in association with London Stock Exchange Group Academy is delighted to announce a series of short courses in finance, hosted at Leeds Beckett University.
Corporate Finance is about analysing the set of circumstances that a company or an investor may face and using the tools of evaluation or transaction to create a value-enhancing outcome. Since circumstances are apt to change – for example the as yet unknown aspects and consequences of Brexit – the prospects and value of businesses also change. The methodologies and metrics to assess the new situation are an implicit part of corporate finance. Equally, the building of a “Northern Powerhouse” will create opportunities and risks that will require careful evaluation at the company level as well as the macro-economic.
Through a combination of presentations, case-studies and worked examples, the course will develop your knowledge of the following key areas:
• the underlying drivers of company worth
• valuation methodologies and techniques
• equity finance raising
• private equity
• corporate restructures
Who should attend:
This one-day course has been designed to appeal to the following professionals;
- Corporate finance executives
- Financial analysts
- Portfolio managers
- M&A advisers
Additionally, the course will benefit managers and directors responsible for corporate planning and strategy in their organisations.
