Leeds Business School, in association with London Stock Exchange Group Academy is delighted to announce a series of short courses in finance, hosted at Leeds Beckett University.
Effective, fair and trustworthy communications between a company and its stakeholders can have a major impact on its reputation and fair valuation. Within this communications mix Investor Relations (IR) plays a crucial gatekeeper role, balancing the external informational needs of the finance and investment industry together with the internal needs of the Board and management team. And the importance of this role intensifies during major periods of opportunity, change or uncertainty.
This section of the programme is designed to equip those involved with the communication of a company’s operations, performance and growth prospects with knowledge, techniques and fundamental tools to start to manage IR effectively for their organisation.
This one-day course has been designed to appeal to the following professionals:

Trainer: Diane Faulks
Diane Faulks has over 25 years’ experience in Investor Relations having held in-house roles for various UK corporates and IR advisory roles with Citi Depositary Receipt Services, Cantos (now MerchantCantos) and Thomson (now Nasdaq OMX). Diane is a former Chairman of the UK’s Investor Relations Society.
Over the years Diane has advised companies of all sizes, sectors and regions on developing their IR strategy, creating and executing an effective IR plan, presentation development and the best use of resources and technology to achieve IR goals. She has spoken at many IR events and led training in Europe, US, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
The venue is a 15-minute walk from Leeds Train Station. If you are driving, the nearest car park is the Woodhouse Lane NCP multi-storey found at LS1 3HQ. This car park closes at 21:00.
