Stefano Sommadossi is a visionary leader in the energy transition sector with over 25 years of experience in strategic consulting, financial advisory, and renewable energy development across the UK, EU, South Africa, and India.

In 2021-22, Stefano spearheaded the development of 2GW of co-located solar and battery storage plants in the UK, alongside overseeing some of the largest stand-alone battery installations in the country. His expertise in clean energy solutions is complemented by his role as a co-founder of NextEnergy Capital (USD 3 billion AUM), WiseEnergy (USD 5.6 billion AUM in clean energy assets), and four other successful development companies.

A trusted advisor to governments, fund managers, financiers, and major corporations, Stefano has provided strategic counsel across the energy, automotive, telecommunications, and media industries. His academic contributions include serving as an adjunct professor of Planning and Control at Bocconi University, where he shared his expertise with the next generation of leaders.
