The Confidence Coaching and Training Programme (CCTP)
This programme is aimed at those who wish to provide one-to-one coaching and mentoring, teach or train confidence enhancement or would like to improve the learning experience by developing participants confidence. The programme features:

  • Coaching and mentoring methodologies to help support others in achieving their confidence goals
  • The research behind the techniques and how this supports improving confidence
  • Practical coaching skills development such as using cognitive behavioural therapy and emotional intelligence awareness to improve goal setting and reflection engagement
  • How to utilise the confidence shape framework and confidence needs analysis frameworks in a coaching or teaching environment
  • Train the trainer strategies to introduce confidence in everyday learning and practice
  • A toolkit of over 100 confidence enhancement resources to use freely
  • Discount on bespoke confidence development session resources such as handouts, postcards and confidence needs analysis questionnaires


Course duration: 1 day, 10.00 - 16.00, lunch and refreshments included. The initial one day session is followed by three optional assessment components that are submitted within six months of the course date.

Assessment: the assessment helps participants taking the course utilise the learning in context. Each assessment component is submitted by email, the templates and guidance are provided. The three components are:

  1. A 1000 word account of reflective practice - detailing personal motivation and learning development journey.
  2. A Development Plan - this can be presented as a poster, mood board or 1 page document and must include the desired outcome/aim, a timeline and approach/methodology.
  3. A Practical session – delivering a one-to-one coaching session or group session. A 1 page session plan, video or audio recording submission. A practice opportunity is included in the one day course.


The courses run in 3 major UK locations: Central London, Manchester and Glasgow throughout the year.
