You will undoubtedly have known our legendary wine tastings under the name Three Wine Men but in '25 we have become WineAlive! Only the name has changed but the concept is still the same and this tasting is the highlight of our year as Oz Clarke, Tim Atkin MW and Olly Smith can’t wait to taste with you again! The Big Christmas Wine Festival in London is always the much-anticipated and biggest tasting every Christmas and they can't wait to share a stellar line-up of wines with you from all over the globe in the lead up to the festive period.
This unmissable event comprises the main walk around tasting, 3 masterclasses and pop-up on stage features – all providing the perfect opportunity to taste and discover your next favourite bottles and fill up the wine rack in time for Christmas. Plus, many exhibitors have special show offers on their wines.
What can you expect at the tasting?
• Over 600 wines to taste – all included in the ticket price
• Wines of all descriptions from reds, whites, rosés, sparkling, sweet and fortified – something for every palate
• Mingle with the experts – Oz, Olly and Tim are always on hand for a wine chat
• Talk wine with the people behind the labels
• Many of the exhibitors will have special show offers – time to fill up the wine rack for Christmas
• Three themed masterclasses – tutored tastings to learn more, hosted by WineAlive experts - include 'Sparkling Wines from around the World', 'A Journey through North West Spain' and the 'Pioneering Californian Wines of J Lohr'
If you’re new to wine and you have never been to a tasting, Oz, Olly and Tim want you there. They will point you in the direction of some top tipples to taste and start you on the road to vinous pleasure. If you are passionate about wine and cannot wait to share the next drop with friends, they want you to come and find something new and exciting. If wine is important to you, they want to show you the stuff you never knew existed. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert or an enthusiast – just grab a glass and join in.

Frequently asked questions
Absolutely not! Every is welcome. Some people attending will have a lot of knowledge and are looking to discover some great new bottles but others have never been to a tasting before and we would be delighted to start you on your wine journey.
Yes. Once you arrive at the tasting you can taste as many wines as you wish in the main tasting - there are hundreds on offer. However, we urge all visitors to taste responsibly and use the spittoons provided. Separate tickets are required for masterclasses.
Contact us if you can't attend the session you have booked, we may be able to change your tasting session time or date if we have availability at another tasting session. However, this change must take place at least 24 hours before the start of the event. Tickets do sell out fast though!

You are welcome to purchase as many tickets as you like.
When you buy your tickets from Evenbrite you’ll get a confirmation email immediately. This contains a QR code which we will scan on arrival and swap for a wristband to give you access to the event.
Yes - to attend a masterclass you must already have purchased a main tasting ticket. You will need a separate ticket for each masterclass you attend. You can attend as many masterclasses as you wish in your 'tasting session’ and each is designed to last 25 minutes so there is plenty of time to tas
In the event that you are not able to attend our live wine festivals and masterclasses we will offer you a refund on tickets up to 30 days before the event. WineAlive charges a £5 administration fee for every ticket refunded. Alternatively, you may pass your ticket to a friend to use in your place
Contact us if you can't attend the session you have booked, we may be able to change you session time or date. Equally you are welcome to pass your ticket to a friend or colleague.
All our venues have good disabled access. If you have any queries about access at specific venues, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll work with you to make it work for you.
There are many spittoons placed around the tasting room and masterclasses and we ask you to use them. There are also water stations with copious quantities of water and we encourage you to stay hydrated. Ensure that you eat before or when tasting. We want everyone to enjoy themselves.
Since there is alcohol being served we do not permit access to anyone under the age of 18. This includes no access for buggies or babes in arms.
Each event is split into tasting sessions to ensure that you can taste a wide varety wines. The sessions are three hours long and your ticket will give you access to one session – check the timings and we’ll see you there. A separate ticket is needed for each session and each masterclass.
