We've got another event happening and it is perfect for everyone!

This event is about Technology and Journalism and we will be having talks by those deeply involved in Journalism.  We will gather at the great Thoughtworks offices where Wired will have dropped off a copy of their mag *and* a discount code for everyone, then have a quick drink of wine or juice before listening to the talks followed by chatting and nibbles.

The perfect opportunity to learn more about being a journalist, tech journalism, how to get into it, how it works and just learn lots!  We have some of the best speakers as usual and this time doint a short piece each we have:

Ramaa Sharma is a Senior Multi Media Journalism Trainer at the BBC College of Journalism, where she creates courses on the use of emerging technologies within journalism, social media and also facilitates multi media ways of working. Previous to her current role she has worked as Senior Journalist for BBC Religion & Ethics and also as a Tri-Media reporter for BBC London. Ramaa will be talking about the latest video tools she is training journalists on and also uses for her own blog.

Connie St Louis is the Director of the Science Journalism MA at City University in London. She's an award-winning freelance broadcaster, journalist, writer and scientist. Her most recent programme on BBC Radio 4 investigated the use of designer drugs by pharmaceutical companies. She writes for a numerous outlets including The Independent, the Daily Mail, The Guardian and The Sunday Times, BBC On Air magazine and BBC Online.

Angela Saini is an award-winning independent journalist based in London, and the forthcoming author of Geek Nation, a journey through India, to find out whether the country is set to become the world's next scientific superpower. It's going to be published by Hodder & Stoughton in Spring 2011. Her work focuses on science, technology and their impact on society. Angela's writing has been published in New Scientist, Science, Wired and The Economist, and she is a regular reporter on BBC radio science shows.
