Overview
This one hour workshop is open to all women and birthing people who are booked to have their baby at Kings College hospital, both Denmark Hill and PRUH site. It is suitable for everyone including those with a pre existing mental health condition and those who want to learn more about keeping yourself mentally well throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Facilitated by the mental health specialist midwives at Kings; we will explore together normal emotional changes in pregnancy, what the transition to motherhood can feel like, common perinatal mental health conditions and where to get support in pregnancy and after the birth of your baby if you're struggling with how you're feeling. Partners and birth partners are welcome to join too.
