This session will start from 1:15 until 3:45pm

Based on sound neuroscience and psychology, this session offers understanding of, and practical techniques for managing and reducing stress, defusing conflict and creating a more satisfying work-life balance.

Do any of these apply to you at times?

• Feelings of overwhelm, or never being able to catch up with yourself

• Negative feelings crowding your mind

• A never-shrinking to-do list

• Poor-quality sleep or waking with anxiety during the night

• Feeling stressed, irritable, over-focused or tending towards OCD-type behaviors (though we may not wish to admit to them!)

• Predominant or low-level feelings of anxiety, low self-esteem or inadequacy

• That this isn’t the life you ordered when you went into teaching?!

If any of these are familiar to you, then come and learn some cutting-edge techniques for understanding the causes and actions of stress within the body and mind.

We will also practice some proven techniques for managing and reducing anxiety and overwhelm. Bring your current issues to practice on, so you can see that this approach really does work!

Course notes will be provided so that you can continue to practice after the session.

This session is for primary and secondary school teachers, also for support staff.
