Artists on Artists is a one day film festival to be held on the 16th September 2017.
John Christie's film on John Berger, Tacita Dean's film on Michael Hamburger, Peter Mann's film on Sargy Mann, Julian Simmons' film on Sarah Lucas & many more. Many of the directors will be there in person to present their film.
It celebrates artists by seeing them through the eyes of other artists. It tentatively poses the question, does an artist’s eye make for a different type of interpretation of another artist?
All proceeds will go to support the work of the Artists' Benevolent Fund which has been instrumental in helping a number of the artists involved in the festival.
Mostly, we are about getting interesting people together to talk about other interesting people in a great setting with rich content, healthy food and lots of great liquids to consume!

A unique medieval hunting lodge
This stunning building was originally a banqueting and sumptuous party house for the rich and famous. Sir John Wingfield was inspired by Dutch architecture and built it as a rare and avant garde experiment in 1472.
Letheringham Lodge is a unique and internationally significant survival from the late Middle Ages. It is the smallest occupied moated site in the county and was originally designed as a ‘display’ building with expensive and flambouyant corner posts which were highly decorative. Sited on a hilltop, the building would have been used to overview the activities of the deer park which surrounded it.
Today, the current owners are working artists and restoring the buildings by offering accommodation for the pleasure of guests through Airbnb.
