'Britain’s Constitutional Crisis' The Sheffield Institute for Policy Studies Annual Lecture

Lord Kerslake, who is president of the Local Government Association, former head of the civil service and permanent secretary at the Department for Communities and Local Government, will give the SIPS annual lecture on 'Britain’s Constitutional Crisis'.

The lecture will take place in the Heart of the Campus Lecture Theatre. Refreshments will be provided.

Lord Kerslake is Chair of Sheffield Hallam University’s Board of Governors, Chair of London’s King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Chair of the Peabody Board, Chair of the London CIV and Chair of the Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS).

Lord Kerslake led the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) from November 2010 to February 2015.

Prior to this, Lord Kerslake was the first Chief Executive of the Homes and Communities Agency.

In early 2015, Lord Kerslake was made a life peer taking the title Baron Kerslake of Endcliffe in the City of Sheffield.
