Our most popular tour this year is based around the Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) that are key drivers of the Corporation’s Destination City policy.

We’ll start at Aldgate and The Rowe, aka the Aldgate Bauhaus by AHMM and the award-winning Urbanest City by Hopkins Architectsand This is Apt before moving on to the Eastern Cluster (EC) and the dramatic growth of towers in the Square Mile.

At Cheapside we’ll look at the controversial improvements to Bank Junction and the new HQ of HSBC at 81 Newgate Street, a retrofit by KPF. At the Culture Mile BID we’ll see the London Museum development by Stanton Williams and the Woolgate Exchange retrofit by Stiff + Trevilion for Stanhope.

In the Fleet Street Quarter we’ll go past Edenica by Fletcher Priest Architects for YardNine, 65 Fleet Street by Buckley Grey Yeoman for Dominus, the new Justice Quarter by Eric Parry Architects for the Corporation of London, and Fleet Street House on New Bridge Street by HOK for Atenor.

We’ll finish the evening with a networking reception on the rooftop of Landsec’s latest workspace retrofit – Myo St Paul’s, completed by dMFK earlier this year.
