Bats play an important role keeping insects in check, pollinating plants and dispersing seeds. They also act as an indicator species so it's important to monitor them (and maintain their habitat)
After the success of our spring walk, we are super excited to welcome back Highgate Woods ranger and bat expert Cindy Blaney to guide us on another walk and talk in Lordship Rec. With the help of sonic bat detectors we will see what's around the lake in the Rec. During our spring walk we saw and heard common and soprano pipistrelles and located noctules flighly above so hopefully we will see/hear them again, but there may be more species this time. Families welcome (suitable for 7+ ages).**Guide dogs only please**
