Event Information
About this event
Sign up here for a ticket to the launch event of the podcast series of Lorna’s Lloyd's 'Diary of the war' at Great Malvern Priory on Tuesday 24th May 2022, from 2:00pm onwards.
This is a free, ticketed, event for all interested in learning more about Lorna Lloyd, her chronicles of the early months of World War II from her home in Malvern, and her powerful poetry. This is also an opportunity to meet the teams behind the popular Blipfoto journal LornaL (http://blipfoto.com/LornaL), and the creation of the new podcast series of Lorna's writing. Several members of the Lloyd family will also be participating at the event, including Lorna's great-great niece Bethany Ray, who plays Lorna in the podcast series. The programme for the event includes a series of presentations throughout the afternoon, which are repeated again in the evening. Participants are welcome to come along for the afternoon or evening session (or even both!) as they prefer.
