Losing My Religion

Losing My Religion

Overview

A monthly support group for LGBTQ+ people who’ve left their religion.

Were you part of a high-control religion, have you deconstructed or been expelled? Have you lost contact with family, friends and community? Then this is the group for you.

Ade started this group to create a space for people to share their experiences of their exit from religion, the way that it has impacted their lives and to find community again.

If you are looking for people who understand what you have been through and want to meet some cool queer peeps, then come to losing my religion.

P.S. this is not an anti-religion group.

About the facilitator

Hi, I am Ade (he/him), and I come from a super religious family. I created this group for people who have left their community behind and want to find a new community.
